Paper bag snowman

Here it is blog friends!  Remember the darling paper bag pumpkins?  Well I got to thinking, I could TOTALLY make a snowman with paper bags!  And I did!  And I think it is darling!  What do you think?  Excited to say, this tutorial can be found here...on my own blog.  Please forgive the absence of photos for the tutorial.  Like I said, I am cameraless for now.

This snowman is about 2 feet tall

Items needed:
Cream, orange and brown paint
5-6 black buttons
1 Large lawn paper bag
1 Grocery size paper bag
2 Small paper bag
Child size hat and scarf
Raffia (optional)
2 Tree limbs for arms
Follow the tutorial for the paper pumpkins, but don't leave a stem.  Instead, tape the top closed so each part of the snowman can sit nicely on top of the others.  Paint each section cream and let dry.  Add brown paint (I mixed a little cream with mine to tone it down) to highlight the creases.  When completely dry hot glue (best I could come up with) the sections together.  For the carrot nose, I took another small paper bag and twisted it up tight and cut it to size.  Not sure how, but it stayed twisted.  I painted it orange, with brown paint to highlight the creases.  Once dry, I carefully inserted it in place and added a little hot glue to keep it there.  Add limbs for arms, buttons for eyes and vest.  I put raffia for a scarf and then found the scarf and hat and added that too.
Okay, I am sure you have tonz of questions, because not only am I new at creating, but I am new at tutorials. So ask away!
I would love to know what you think!  And be honest.  :D

  4. Oh my gosh!!! I am so in love!!! I am totally hitting the button "why didn't I think of that!" :) I absolutely LOVE it!!! And I love how you took my idea and ran with it (shhh...don't tell, I think it is cuter than the pumpkins) I always get my ideas from other people than I just tweak them to make it my own. Way to go!

Wait! Don't read and run. I would love to know what you think. Good? Bad? (Okay, maybe not the bad. My ego is fragile still.) It is your comments that keep this little brain buzzing.
